According to George or Joanne Griffin - Hawk's Valley Farm specializes in pasture-grown chickens raised on their 240 acres. These birds grow tender and delicious out on pasture and are a beautiful golden color from the sun. The chickens are fed a blend of homegrown certified organic grain with no antibiotics, hormones, or GMO's are ever used. The Griffins have been committed to organic farming since 1978. An exciting new venture for the Griffins is their flock of ??heritage?? turkeys ?? beautiful varieties that taste like turkey is supposed to taste. These free-range birds dine on a diet of bugs, grubs and insects, in addition to an organic grain supplement, that allows them to have a superior taste and texture.
