Nature's Bakery Cooperative is a vegetarian bakery committed to using organic whole grains. We have been a worker's collective since its founding in 1970. Currently, we operate with eight full-time members. All members participate in the baking process, specialize in an area of management, and hold a seat on our board of directors. Nature's Bakery Cooperative traditionally supports organic farming, natural food warehouses, nutritional research, political activism, food co-ops, consumer co-ops, housing co-ops, and worker or family owned businesses. These groups work for positive changes in how foods are grown and distributed.
