Located in the heart of downtown La Crosse, People's Food Co-op has been a natural foods leader in the area for the past 26 years. Our mission is to promote community, grow a loyal and thriving membership and to establish ourselves as the best fresh food market in the country. For more than a decade we've operated out of our existing location. Having outgrown our current space, we are in the midst of an ambitious expansion project. The completion of this project will more than double our retail space and dramatically improve our service and selection. The expansion project includes the opening of a restaurant on the second floor of our building featuring a seasonal, whole foods menu with a wine/espresso bar. The support of more than 2,300 members and many more shoppers has allowed us to change and grow while continuing to provide high quality, minimally processed products; organically grown foods; and the friendliest shopping experience around. Offering: full deli and bakery and grab'n'go section, espresso/coffee bar, fresh and frozen quality meats, bulk grains and spices, organic and local produce, health and body care, housewares, floral, books, and deli seating.
