According to Pat or Vicki Jenkins - The Jenkins raise Limousin, Angus-mix cattle in pastures on several different locations in the Kittitas Valley. The cattle are fed hay that Pat and Vicki grow themselves. Pat and Vicki grow mostly Timothy/grass mix hay and privately sell any extra hay. When meat is sold to the general public, it is generally sold as a whole, meaning the whole animal. To reserve a whole cut, customers are advised to call at least a month ahead of time to work out details of processing and pick-up. The cattle are entirely grass-fed, but accommodations can be made for those customers who wish to have a grain-finished product. All grain used is all-natural.
