Chez Panisse and Boulevard Come to Tangletown Gardens Farm

Sun, 08/29/2010

Announcing the farm dinner of the season! On Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Tangletown Gardens Farm in Plato, MN, join Chefs Dana Younkin of San Fransisco’s famed Boulevard restaurant and Chef Ryan Childs from the legendary Chez Panisse in Berkeley, CA for an unforgettable evening of culinary delights. With palates influenced by some of the legendary founding organizations of the locavore movement, guests will experience a dinner like no other.

Ticket numbers are very limited due to the very special nature of this event, so we encourage diners to order soon to secure their place at the Tangletown table.

Tangletown Gardens is bringing the best of the West to the Midwest, giving local food lovers the opportunity to experience the taste of food from Bay area icons without traveling to California. Using sustainably grown produce and proteins from Tangletown Gardens farm, chefs from two of the best restaurants in the country, and the support of local restaurants, this dinner will be an extraordinary collaboration of local and national talent. In the natural beauty of Tangletown Gardens Farm, Chefs Dana Younkin and Ryan Child will execute attention to detail at each of the seven courses, giving guests the ultimate fine dining experience. Guests will be treated to an afternoon reception and depart with a surprise gift.

While California's Chez Panisse may be the birthplace of the locavore slow food movement, Minnesotans are not far behind—the Twin Cities has become a destination for food lovers, and a destination for budding culinary talent. Minnesotans won't want to miss this unique opportunity to experience this culinary meeting of the minds.
