Brenda Langton, senior fellow at the Center for Spirituality & Healing, is owner of the highly acclaimed restaurants Cafe Brenda and Spoonriver as well as founder of the Mill City Farmers Market. For over a decade, she has been committed to locally-grown foods and healthy dining. Join Langton as she share her passion and philosophy for "Healthy Eating/Healthy Living" sharing simple wholesome ways to better nourish ourselves.
Healthy Eating/Healthy Living offers recipes, grocery lists and inspiration to get into your kitchen and cook. "There's no better time than right now to take charge of your health by cooking delicious foods that build up our immune systems, helping us feel happy and full of life."
The three night class will feature different variations of the following menu items:
- Early morning rise - creative breakfast options
- Savory snacks to get you through your day
- Simple, delicious soups
- Vegetable, fruit, legumes and whole grains
- Mouth-watering entrees - using pant-based proteins (tofu, tempeh, mock duck, and nuts) and seafood
- Delicious desserts without refined sugar!
