SGT January Local Food Event: Family Style Dinner at Brasa

Tue, 01/19/2010

January's SGT local food event at Brasa Premium Rotisserie in St. Paul is not to be missed. Phenomenal chef and restaurateur Alex Roberts will be creating a unique, family style meal inspired - in Brasa's uniquely delicious style - by (in the words of Brasa's website) "traditional creole cooking found in the Americas and Caribbean."

At Brasa, we'll eat local food - as much as you'll find in St. Paul, MN in January - family style, at big tables, including locally raised goat from Shepherd's Song, beef from Thousand Hills Cattle Company, and a variety of produce, much of which is grown by Alex's father Don Roberts at Otter Creek Growers. (Vegetarian options will be offered too.)

Alex will be speaking about the menu and about his three restaurants (which include two Brasa locations and Restaurant Alma), and several producers will be on hand to speak as well.
