A Salt & Battery, a fish & chip shop, uses only the freshest and finest quality fish and ingredients fried in the best vegetable oil. With exception to those few imported items on the menu the utmost priority is given to locally harvested produce e.g. potatoes from Long Island and fish caught by local day-boat fishermen.
