According to Janet Kassel-Blakeney - A small family farm dating back to 1854. Since 1976, we have farmed the land using completely organic principles and sustainable practices. You can purchase our all-natural, locally and sustainably grown beef and Basics Cooperative in Janesville, WI. The animals we raise live healthfully on feed that we grow ourselves. They are primarily grass-fed and provided with plenty of pasture (free-range), ample sunshine, shelter and fresh, clean water. We use absolutely no chemicals, antibiotics, steroids, hormones, animal by-products, pesticides. We sell at local markets, food co-ops and on-farm veggie stand.
