According to Matthew Smith - Our farm is located about 25 miles west of Madison, Wisconsin. We're high on a ridgetop and have limestone soils and good drainage; it has perfect conditions for the best asparagus. Matt has a horticulture degree from the University of Wisconsin. He has been farming since 1980 and has been involved in the Dane County Farmers' Market since then. This will be our seventh year in business, selling to restaurants in Madison, Chicago and Milwaukee. We sell our chicken, turkey, fruit, vegetables, and mushrooms at the Dane County Farmer's Market through November 5th and then we sell in the Monona Terrace Convention Center, indoor market. We offer certified organic chicken and heritage turkey that can be picked up at the market or on the farm. Please place your order and schedule a pick-up time.
