According to Karen - BSWFarm is small, sustainable operation located just west of Lake Michigan in southeastern Wisconsin. The farm features a healthy herd of well-cared-for goats. As Karen, the farmer, says the goats are her ??little pride and joys?? for which she goes out of her way to provide a safe, humane, and happy home. Weather permitting, the goats are raised out on pasture as much as possible and they feast on a diet of grasses and all-natural, vegetarian grain. The animals are never supplemented with hormones and only receive antibiotics should they fall ill. The goats supply the farm with fresh, raw milk that is sold on-site to customers. Karen has all the proper milking equipment on the farm and will even provide customers with jars and bottles to take home. She always makes sure to re-sterilize each container. Milk should be available year-round. Goat meat is also sold from the farm, generally in the springtime. Although, interested customers should call to inquire about availability at other times throughout the year. Aside from goat milk and meat, BSWFarm also raises pastured chickens and eggs. The eggs are sold year-round.
