According to Cheri - Cheri began her business by preserving various fruits grown on her property and giving them to family and neighbors. Soon neighbors began sending over unusual fruit grown on their own property for Cheri to preserve for them. Payment for this favor came in the way of special homemade goodies made from their own kitchens. As a result, Cheri soon learned how to make many different varieties of preserves, some of which she still continues to make for her own business today.
