Dr. Deb is a holistic chiropractor whose offices are located at the store. Her extensive background in clinical nutrition and functional medicine provides customers with the most up-to-date information and counsel on all health related topics. Functional medicine is a comprehensive holistic approach to wellness that seeks to improve both the patientﾒs environmental inputs and his or her physiological function. Bud is a licensed psychologist and professor of psychology at the University of Minnesota Duluth. His teaching and interest areas include holistic health and the mind body connection. He is the author of several books including the childrenﾒs book, Divine Daisy: A Transpersonal Tale (Bumblebee Hollow Press, 2010). The work we do as professionals is not separate from the rest of our lives but grows out of a deep commitment to healthy living, natural foods, preventive medicine, community education, and organic gardening. For us, ownership of this store allows us to continue our personal and professional development in these areas and allow us to provide the most-up-to-date holistic health and wellness information to our customers. In 2008 we have added a 7.3 KW solar system to our store that is now meeting about 1/3 of our energy needs. Please ask us about our solar project next time you are in the store. We are currently exploring a geothermal energy system that will further move us toward energy independence. The knowledgeable staff of Cheryl, Teri, Kathy and Brenda has extensive expertise ranging from the use of whole foods cooking to organic farming practices.
