Dave's BrewFarm is a sustainably-based nano-brewery located in Wilson, WI. The brewery is on 35 acres of WI farmland. It is powered by a 20kW wind turbine and the heating and cooling is geo-thermal. The building is a live / work space, where David Anderson works and lives with his wife, Pam Dixon. There are currently two commercial products on the market: BrewFarm Select is an all malt golden lager that is brewed and canned for us at Point Brewery in Stevens Point, WI. Matacabras is a dark belgium style ale that is named after the Spanish word for "Wind so strong it kills goats," affectionately known as "the goat killer." This beer is brewed and bottled / kegged at SandCreek Brewery in Black River Falls, WI.
In addition to the commercially available products, the BrewFarm has a "Labrewatory" where David experiments and creates unique lagers and ales. These beers can be purchased during open taproom hours at the brewery. They also have 1 liter bottles to take home and share.
