According to Al Erickson - Welcome to Eagle Perch Ranch. We are located on the beautiful, fertile plain of the Snoqualmie River Valley, between Duvall and Monroe, Washington. Our 182-acre ranch, which consists of two farms, is a natural haven just east of the Puget Sound metropolis. Eagle Perch Ranch is approximately 30 miles northeast of Seattle, Washington. It is also just a short scenic drive northeast of the Bellevue/Redmond area and southeast of Everett, Washington.At Eagle Perch Ranch, we raise grassfed cattle in a nonstressed, all-natural environment. Our animals graze freely and are rotated among seven pastures as part of the land management of our ranch.No chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or other synthetic substances have ever been used on the fields on which we raise our cattle. We believe natural grass feeding of our cattle is the best way to go. Because they are pasture-raised and not confined in a pen or feedlot, they are healthy and vigorous and do not need to be medicated.We generally harvest our beef from late spring through the fall months. We estimate that our 2006 harvest will begin in May and is dependent largely on weather and pasture conditions. We sell our grassfed beef in whole and halves, as well as in 50 lb. ground beef packages. The butcher fees are separate and are paid directly to the butcher at the time you pick up your order.
