Fido's Farm, home of Evergreen Valley Lamb and EVE Gardens Pastured Poultry & Mushrooms, is nestled in the scenic and serene Evergreen Valley, located between Olympia and Tacoma. We manage our 82-acres for wildlife, waterfowl habitat, and water quality along with the production of healthy, tasty food. The productive soils of the Evergreen Valley allow us to offer grass fed and finished lambs year round. Enjoy this tasty, tender and lean lamb, and at the same time, support the economic viability of small farm agriculture and open space in the Puget Sound region by making a direct purchase from the farmer. Pastured broiler chickens are available by pre-order in the summer months. Pastured poultry is a way of managing the conventional type of meat bird (Cornish rock cross) in a way that requires no antibiotics, no artificial hormones, and no medicated feeds. By moving chickens on to new ground daily, the birds are able to graze on insects and fresh greens. High quality organic feed coupled with daily forage makes for a distinctively tender and delicious broiler. Culinary mushrooms are also available by subscription and special order.
