FruitShare

FruitShare founder Everett Myers knows fruit. Over the years, he has spent time in many facets of the fruit production industry, from farming to wholesale distribution. These experiences gave Everett a unique perspective that led him to create FruitShare. The goal of FruitShare is to share the taste of fresh, in-season organic fruit with anyone across the United States. When fruit tastes this good, people will want to eat it, and when there is great-tasting fruit at arm's reach, it is easy to make healthy choices. To bring in-season organic fruit to customers all year round, Everett has cultivated relationships with small organic family farms throughout the U.S. FruitShare ships only fruit that has been picked at the peak of flavor, and delivers it to your home or business as fast as possible to ensure freshness and maximum nutrient content. Included with each box of fruit is a newsletter with stories straight from the farm, plus information about storing and using the fruit.

At FruitShare, we know how our fruit is grown, and we believe that organic agriculture is simply better for the environment than conventional practices. The lack of harsh chemicals is good not only for the consumer, but also for the land and - perhaps most of all - for the workers who spend cultivate the fruit and would otherwise be exposed to the highest levels of toxic chemicals. We have heard story after story about the return of wildlife and natural plants when farms convert to organic. Nurturing the land for generations to come is an important principle at FruitShare, which is why we use shipping methods that have the lowest possible impact on the environment.
