According to David Lathrop - Lathrop Farms are located in Dane and Iowa counties in the state of Wisconsin. The Lathrop Farm in Dane County is located in the town of Dunn, just a few minutes south of the Madison Beltline. David & Jacqueline Lathrop converted this 180 acre farm to a certified organic farm in 1995. The farm produces organic poultry, eggs, meats, produce and fruit. In addition, the farm has successful wetland and prairie restoration projects. All farming practices are certified organic and focus on the humane treatment of animals and environmentally friendly restorative processes that are sustainable in nature.
