According to Tim Macy - Macy's was the first commercial coffee roaster in Arizona. Our Bakers use the finest, freshest ingredients they can find. We take great pride in creating classic baked goods, such as pies, tarts, layer cakes, cheese cakes, brownies and cookies, and in presenting the public with an all-vegetarian menu with an assortment of wheat-free, dairy-free and vegan options. Macy's is proud to offer only the highest quality coffee: Arabica hard bean varieties of Grade 1, organic and estate coffee prepared to European standards. Macy's is committed to supporting small coffee growers and coffee growing cooperatives. Many of these small farms cannot afford to obtain the "organic" certification for their crops, although they grow their beans by traditional methods. Macy's buys these beans from the non-certified growers in our efforts to support smaller operations offering exceptional coffee. All of our coffee beans are purchased from non-corporate enterprises.
