According to Dave or Dawn Kuhns - Our animals are pasture raised without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics, but they do get all the grass they can eat. We raise our own hay for them, and we enjoy spending time with our animals and observing all their quirks and the interesting things they do. We rely on our sustainable practices to keep our small family farm in operation and want you to know that we would never utilize practices like submitting the chicken to a chlorine bath during processing. Please look for our family's stand at the Urbana Farmers' Market from May through November. Winter deliveries are made once a month (typically the first Saturday) in the Park Inn parking lot in Urbana. If you are interested, please email or call for details.
