According to David and Lesley Newell - Newell Family Farm beef is raised all-natural on the pastures of Illinois. The cattles' diet is primarily composed of grass, but they do receive grain on occasion. The grain is corn-based and grown directly on the farm. There is no specific schedule that determines product availability, but the beef is usually available every two months in quarters, halves, and bulk. Orders can be picked up at the processing plant in Jacksonville. Customers are encouraged to call ahead of time to inquire about availability and to make proper ordering and pick-up arrangements.
