According to Jim and Ellen Palmquist - Greetings from The Farm located on the edge of the wilderness in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Our 800-acre ranch straddles the Somo River and has been a working beef, buffalo, deer, and tree farm for four generations although our primary passion is great Finnish hospitality that goes back nearly 110 years. At The Farm you can escape to the country and relax, enjoy our beautiful, rural surroundings, eat our amazing Finnish meals, cross-country ski, ride your horse, hike, hunt, spend time with family or friends, take a Finnish sauna, go on a sleigh ride, try the scavenger hunt, or a host of other activities. You'll also enjoy our comfortable, cottage-like accommodations with modern amenities and beautiful brick wood-burning fireplaces. There are no strangers at The Farm, only friends you haven't met yet.
