Roots Restaurant and Cellar

According to Rebecca Goldberger - Roots Restaurant and Cellar is a farmer/chef-owned restaurant with a greenhouse, orchard, and 67 acres of organic property. We are members of Chefs Collaborative and Slow Food USA. Many local farms supply our kitchen with fresh, all-natural products and we are always sure to observe sustainable agriculture and aquaculture. All of our meats and eggs are free-range. Roots Restaurant and Cellar offers contemporary fusion cuisine with an emphasis on seafood and organics celebrating the seasons. We have been featured in Bon Appetit and were also included in Organic Style Magazine's top 20 green restaurants in the country. Dinner is served at the restaurant Monday through Thursday, 5pm to 9pm; and Friday and Saturday, 5pm to 10pm. Lunch is available Monday through Friday, 11am to 2pm. Sunday brunch is served 10am to 2pm. The Cellar, which features the same great food in a more casual atmosphere, features a more extensive menu, a larger bar, and, on occasion, live music. The Cellar is open Monday through Friday, 5pm to 10pm; Friday and Saturday, 5pm to midnight; and Sunday, 5pm to 9pm (spring hours).
