According to Sara Shepard - Shepherd's Cross is located just off of Route 66 in Oklahoma. Since 1993 the Dickinson family have been shepherds, inspired by biblical lessons. Animals, in particular sheep, and plants, are used to bring revelation to scripture. Call or e-mail the farm before visiting, or to schedule a tour. Products for sale include: lamb, mutton, wool and wool products, hay, pecans, eggs and seasonal produce. Orders can be placed online, and look for a full online store coming soon. Sometimes their products are available at local artisans' fairs. There is a bible garden on site that features plants from scripture or plants that grow in modern day Israel. Herbs and produce are GMO-free and fertilized naturally. Coming soon is a wool mill that will be used to process the 300+ pounds of raw wool that the sheep produce. The wool will no longer be leaving the country to be processed, but will stay right on site creating jobs and minimizing transportation costs.
