According to Karen Bumann & David Schmidt - Certified organic since 1998, Sweetland Farm is a dairy and poultry farm near Menomonie, Wisconsin. Sweetland Farm offers premium farmstead food "raised with the care of days gone by", including pasture-raised heritage chickens, eggs, ducks, duck eggs, heritage turkeys, grassfed beef, and grassfed Jersey cow cheese. Humane animal husbandry, old-fashioned farming techniques, and raising animals in small batches allows us to produce high quality, nutritional food "with flavor!" The small 30-cow herd of Jersey dairy cattle graze pastures spring through fall, and all poultry are pasture-raised to allow for natural animal behavior.
