Our Beef
Our beef is processed at Ledebuhr Meat Processing, a federally inspected, certified-organic abattoir in Winona that is family-run (Karen Ledebuhr answers the phone and schedules the processing). She just called to let us know that our next batch of all-natural, grass-fed beef is ready—and is available to you right now. By purchasing our beef, you’re not only treating yourself to delicious steaks and roasts that are low in fat, provide the proper balance of omega-3s and omega-6s, and even contain naturally cancer-fighting elements (CLAs, or conjugated linoleic acids), you’re supporting a healthy way of raising animals and farming techniques that make a minimal impact on the environment. Grass-fed beef is also naturally resistant to E. coli. Our cattle are fed only organic grass and hay, and they are never given growth hormones.
