Café Levain just makes good, fresh French food. The atmosphere isn't as upscale as the food is - it's supposed to be a quiet neighborhood place. The French onion soup is one of the best around. The menu features a short list of solid and traditional dishes with seasonal vegetables. The small prices make Levain a great value for dinner.
