Westcott Bay Sea Farms, a shellfish aquaculture farm, markets its own products, grown exclusively in Westcott Bay, primarily to restaurants. Located on the shoreline of San Juan Island near the Canadian border, the productive bay is enriched by the clean, cold waters of the Straits of Juan de Fuca. To achieve the goal of being the leader in quality of product, Westcott Bay combines advanced aquaculture systems, prime site location, and a production team focused on excellence. Oyster seed is purchased from outside suppliers and is cultivated in lantern nets suspended in deep water for optimal growth and safety.
