I believe we’ll be getting garlic scapes for the next few weeks, at least I think we did last year. We made garlic scape and spinach pesto last year that we really enjoyed. From the HV site:
Spinach and Scape Pesto
Puree: 1/2 bag spinach, 1/2 c. grated parmesan or romano cheese, 1/4 c. toasted nuts (pine or walnut), 5 or 6 scapes, 1/2c. olive oil. S&P to taste. 4 or 5 basil leaves can be added if you wish
I'm psyched to be going as well! This is our first year belonging to a CSA and Harmony Valley Farm has been awesome so far! My four-year-old will finally get to see where all those veggies come from and how a farm works. And he LOVES strawberries. Couldn't think of a better way to spend the weekend.
Yo Moe!
I've never been there, so I can't say for sure - only that I hope the address and locating are correct, 'cause that's what we're going by. Very much hope to see you and your wife there, it'd be much fun to catch up on local eats.

We are going to try to make it down as well, depends what the extended family wants to do for Father's Day. We drove through Viroqua last summer, but didn't have HV's address so we couldn't drive by. But Viroqua is a really nice little town, in a beautiful part of Wisconsin.
Looking at a map, is this really where it is?

I thought it was closer to Viroqua
Hey Nick,
I hate to admit it, but we'll be in a hotel (hard to give up the pleasures of a pool and a bed, especially with the kids and the other family we're traveling with). Let's try and hook up on Sunday, if not before. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Thanks for the note!
