This Saturday, May 9, Bake For Hope is hosting its Minneapolis bake sale just outside of Corner Table restaurant. Bake for Hope is a national non-profit organization committed to raising money and awareness to fight breast cancer. Here's what it says on the Bake For Hope site:
We are coordinating a wonderful event across the country. We are planning to have hundreds of bake sales run continually the week before Mother's Day in honor of mothers and women everywhere in support of finding a cure for breast cancer. This event will be run by 100% volunteers and 100% of the money raised will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
